SOLD Simple gold filigree lines embellish this 1930s diamond blue sapphire wedding band.  This bright old European cut diamond, at approximately 1/4 carat weight, is held tightly in this square illusion setting.  Geometric designs such as squares were often used during the Art Deco Jewelry Period.  This center diamond is accented by two horizontal, rectangular baguette blue sapphires.  This ring features an openwork filigree 18kt white gold mounting.  This ring could either be for a gentleman or lady.

 

Diamond: One old-European cut diamond measuring appx 0.25 carat weight, Clarity: I1, Color: J, diamond has slight surface scratch
Blue Sapphires:  Two baguette blue sapphires, Color: Deep blue, synthetic,  measuring appx 0.35 ct tw, 4.50 x 2.1 x 1.68mm, 4.50 x 2.01 x 1.62mm
Measuring: 1/4" above finger, sapphire to sapphire 5/8", north to south: 5/16"
Hallmarks: 18K
Weight: 5.5 Grams
Size: 6.5, complimentary resizing offered
