Captivating and artistic describe this large deep purple intaglio cameo amethyst ring.  This eye-catching 12 carat oval amethyst has a intricate cameo carved below the surface of the stone.  This rich engraving is of a fine lady with her hair swept up.  This deep purple amethyst has a faceted bottom and is bezel mounted in an elaborate foliate gold mounting.  Reaching from the ring shank are flowing golden leaves.  Amongst the golden leaves are four matching pear shaped amethysts designed and cut to perfectly match the golden leaves.  To complete this unique ring, are two amethyst cabochons one placed strategically at the top and one at the bottom of the cameo mounting.  This estate cameo ring is mounted in 14kt yellow gold and measures almost 1" from top to bottom and 5/8" from left to right.
