Simple, yet elegant describes this antique aquamarine yellow gold bar pin.  At the center of this estate brooch is a horizontally mounted oval blue aquamarine.  This medium to dark blue aquamarine measures appx 3/4 carat weight.  The open gold work surrounding the aquamarine is both classic and simple.  This estate aquamarine bar brooch pin was crafted in 14kt yellow gold.

This fittings on this antique bar pin are unusual.  The early safety pin closure was used briefly from 1890s to 1910.
