Twenty-two diamonds bring intense fire to this small antique turquoise diamond cocktail ring. This late 19th century marquise cluster ring has a small round blue Persian turquoise cabochon in the center. An incredible amount of prismatic light is reflected from the surrounding glistening hand cut diamonds. Two round diamonds adorn the sides of this navette shaped ring. This antique ring is crafted in 14kt yellow gold that appears to have a slight rose tint.
Diamonds in the late 19th century were primarily cut by hand. As a result, older diamonds are not as symmetrical as today's diamonds. The old cut diamonds have irregular cuts and sizes. These diamonds are bright and full of fire.
This antique old diamond turquoise gold ring is in excellent condition.
