These antique dish shaped garnet earrings bring a lovely bit of history to the present. These rubies have a field of stars that are set ablaze by bright red-orange garnets. Most likely these earrings were previously buttons. These garnet earrings have new 14kt pierced earring backings. These earrings each have appx 23 garnets for a combined garnet weight of appx 0.50 ct tw. These estate earrings measure 5/8 inch in diameter. Circa 1900s.
