This antique quartz watch fob and watch chain is exceptional. This interesting set is a historic glimpse to the past. This 18th century watch fob is made of a clear quartz stone that is set in a closed backed 15kt yellow gold setting. This quartz stone has yet to be carved. This eighteenth century watch fob measures 1" x 3/4". This watch fob setting has an intricate engraved floral design. This matching antique watch chain has a spring clasp closure and a safety chain. This estate watch chain is crafted in 15kt yellow gold. This clear quartz gemstone measures appx H14.2mm x W10.5mm. Watch chains are designed to be attached to the pocket watch to prevent loss. The gold watch chain is to be extended across the waistcoat to the watch-pocket, with the watch on one end of the chain and the watch fob on the other side. This watch chain measure 18 1/4 inch long. This chain is 2.3mm wide. The first watches were known to be made around 1500.
