This vintage Art Deco Platinum blue sapphire diamond engagement or wedding ring was impeccably crafted.  This lovely 1920s ring has a center round dark blue sapphire measuring over 1/2 carat.  On each side of this center blue sapphire are  single cut diamonds layered on three tiered levels . Encircling the blue sapphire is a lacy single cut diamond border. This square mounting holds the blue sapphire. Geometric designs like this square mounting were frequently used during the Art Deco Jewelry period of the early 1900s.  This estate wedding ring is crafted in durable platinum.
