The dramatic mixture of black onyx and a white diamond in this Art Deco filigree wedding ring is exceptional. The boldness of black onyx mixed with a floral filigree completes this 1930s wedding ring. This filigree ring features a center hand cut old European-cut diamond measuring appx 1/4 carat weight. This old diamond is held in a classic Art Deco square center design. This square design is finished with four baguette black onyx stones. This 18kt gold openwork filigree is created in a floral design. This center diamond measures approximately 0.25 carat weight.
Diamond: One center old European-cut diamond measuring approximately 0.35 carat weight, Clarity: SI2, Color: K. As is typical of old diamonds, this diamond is not symmetrical. Old European-cut diamonds were used frequently during the Art Deco period. They were the transitional diamond cut between the old mine-cut diamond and the brilliant-cut.
