This antique moonstone diamond stick pin is set in 10kt yellow gold. This milky-white moonstone cabochon has a wonderful floating light effect and sheen. There is a small diamond accent above this heart shaped moonstone. This moonstone diamond tie pin is approximately 2 inches long. This moonstone measures appx H8.4 x W6.8 x D3.9mm and this old cut diamond is appx 0.04 carat weight.  The moonish glow of this stone adds a mystical touch to this tie pin.

Moonstones were once considered to be solidified moonlight. At the end of the 1800s moonstones were thought to have persuasive romantic powers. As a result, moonstone jewelry was often given to a sweetheart.
