Attractive and lacy describe this Art Deco old mine cut diamond engagement ring.  Center stage is an sparkling old mine cut diamond (0.22 carat) framed by a hexagonal mounting.  Square mounted single cut diamonds adorn both shoulders of this ring.  Amongst the lacy filigree, a romantic five petal flower design is found on the front and back of this ring.  This stamped estate Art Deco filigree ring is crafted in 18kt white gold.

Old-mine cut diamonds stopped being cut around 1900.  They are recognized by their higher crown, square girdle and open cutlet.  Old-miners were generally cut by hand and were cut before many modern jeweler tools were invented.
