Reflective light beams in all directions from this old-European cut diamond.  This dainty antique engagement ring has 1/3 carat of an old-European cut diamond.  This old diamond is held by four prongs in this square shaped white gold mounting.  This solitaire ring is completed with a simple yellow gold mounting.  This simple, classic ring is gold hallmarked 14KT/18KT.
 

Old European diamond cuts may be recognized by their rounded girdle, open cutlet and high crown. Old-European cuts were cut at the end of the 1800s and into the early 1900s.  This diamond cut is often confused with old-mine cut diamonds.
