This beautiful 18kt gold stick tie pin was made in a beautiful floral Art Nouveau design. Art Nouveau's themes were often rooted in mythology or inspired by nature - an influence from Japan. The enamel on this pendant was created by hand, a time consuming and detail artistic creation. This calla lily design stick pin features green and coral colored baisse-taille enamel. This center seed pearl accentuates the beauty of the flower. The enamel is in superb condition, shaft has slight bend. 18kt yellow gold tested, not marked. Minor chip to left side of enamel, visible with 15X loupe. Circa 1900.
