This estate old European cut diamond and blue sapphire wedding band is a timeless classic.  This dazzling Old European diamond of approximately 0.75 ct holds center stage in this heavy, 18kt white gold ring. This bright diamond rests nicely between two clear blue sapphires. The color and radiance of this (VS2, I, 3/4 carat) bright white diamond is fabulous. This heavy gold band has beautiful engraving surrounding these fine gemstones and down the sides.  This ring could be for a lady or gentleman.

Old-European diamonds were cut in the early 1900s.  They are often confused with old-mine cut diamonds as both diamond cuts have high crowns and open diamond cutlets.  Old-European diamonds are generally more symmetrical and have rounder girdles.
