This 1930s old-European diamond engagement ring is classically designed.  The simple lines of this timeless platinum engagement ring come to life with the brilliance provided with appx 0.64 total carat weight of diamonds.  This radiant center old-European diamond measures over 1/2 carat.  Embellishing this center diamond are four rounded diamonds that taper in size.  Pointed corners define elegance in this traditional ladies engagement ring.  All in platinum.

Old-European diamonds were the transitional diamond cut between old-mine cut diamonds and today's brilliant-cut diamond.  Often confused with Old-Mine cut diamonds, they are recognized by their rounded girdle. Old-European cut diamonds were known for their natural beauty and exceptional reflection of candlelight.  They ceased being a popular diamond cut in the early 1920s.
