This ladies antique old diamond wedding ring is exquisite. Exceptional detail to fine craftsmanship may be discovered throughout this wedding band. Four old European-cut diamonds are horizontally mounted across the top of this wedding band. Each of these four diamonds is intricately held in an engraved square mounting. The two most centered diamonds are each approximately 1/2 carat weight(VS1, I-J). Framing these center diamonds are two 1/4 carat diamonds, adding both fire and a regal elegance. Two smaller diamonds are found on the sides of this beautiful ring. These side diamonds are centered amongst engraved flowing flowers and intertwined leaves. This wonderful antique wedding ring is crafted in 18kt 750 white gold. This ring is in exceptional condition. (1.58 ct tw, VS1 -SI2, G- J)
Enjoy the old European-cut diamonds in this fantastic ring. Old European-cut diamonds were the predominant cut of diamonds in the early 1900s. The name is an indication of the type of cut, not the country where they were cut. This old cut of diamonds is often confused with old mine cut diamonds because of their high crowns and open culet. They come to full life in a dimly lit room on at a romantic candlelight dinner.
