Captivating!  This absolutely gorgeous 1930s Art Deco blue sapphire diamond platinum engagement ring will always be cherished.  At the heart of this ring is a natural round Ceylon blue sapphire held by four sturdy split prongs.  This stunning cornflower blue sapphire is adorned by three rows of graduated diamonds. These sixteen bright diamonds add a fiery white light that beautifully compliments the blue sapphire.  A linear engraved design descends along the ring shank. This elegant estate blue sapphire engagement or cocktail ring is crafted in platinum.

This ring is made with 90% platinum and 10% iridium.  Platinum is the true white metal.  Platinum is the most durable metal.  Iridium, a metal in the platinum metal group is added to iridium to make it easier for jewelers to work with the metal.
