Absolutely stunning. This antique diamond bangle bracelet shines from the glamor of bright, fiery diamonds. Twenty-nine old European-cut diamonds disperse beautiful prismatic light throughout this pretty bracelet. Nine bezel mounted diamonds are horizontally aligned at the center of this bracelet. These beautiful diamonds gradually descend in size from the larger center diamond. A diamond flower and vine design is woven throughout the face of this bracelet. Twenty smaller diamonds add extra brilliance to this fine early 1900s bracelet. Millegrain finishes further embellish the elegance of this fine piece. A three bar yellow gold backing is found on the backside of this bracelet. This bracelet is made in 14kt ( 585) yellow gold, with a 14kt (585) white gold top that enhances the beauty of these diamonds and has a side clasp, with a safety latch.
Old European-cut diamonds are named for the type of diamonds cut, not their point of origin. They were the predominant diamond cut of the early 1900s. They are recognized by an open culet, higher diamond crown and their number of facets. They perform at their best under warm candle light or dim light.
