This exceptionally beautiful Art Deco Old-European diamond platinum ring features an illusion mounting. Center stage on this 1930s wedding ring is appx 3/4 total carat diamond weight . This illusion setting was artistically designed and crafted to make the center diamonds appear larger than their actual weight. There are four glistening diamonds mounted slightly below the center diamond to create a flower design, while also making the center diamond appear larger. This platinum filigree mounting has knife cut openwork filigree and a hand engraved ring shank. Four small diamonds slide down the shoulders of this ring shank. Adding to the history and the character of this ring is the original romantic inscription, dated 1933.
